Behind the Brand

Loon is a reflection of contemporary style and summers days spent with family and friends on the Muskoka Lakes. It is the embodiment of days on the dock, dinners at Windermere, and evening boat rides back to the cottage. It were these lasting experiences that had an impact on the founder of Loon, Michael Sharrett.

With a background in global markets, premium ecommerce operations, institutional relations and an education from the London Business School, Michael has developed and managed multiple successful online companies. The proud father of two, Michael lives along the shores of Lake Ontario in Burlington, Ontario.

Having spent his summers on Lake Rosseau, Michael envisioned a family curated lifestyle brand with a timeless, classic approach and that pays tribute to classic Muskoka summer life.
